Henley Homes, Inc. was proud to receive the coveted 2006 MAX Award for Best Remodeled Project $100,000-$200,000ï for its work done at 10909 Rangeview Drive, Austin, Texas. The MAX Awards are presented annually by the Home Builders Association, Greater Austin to member builders and associates for excellence in construction.
Henley Homes, Inc. won a silver 2006 MAX Award for second place in the category. Doing Business with HBA," a category designed to reward reciprocal services among members of the Home Builders Association, Greater Austin.

Gary has been honored with the HBA's annual President's Award. In 2003 he was recognized for his leadership as Chairman of the Remodelers Council in the addition of a bedroom/bath on the home of a wounded soldier, Private Alan Babin of Round Rock, Texas who served in the War in Iraq. In 2004 he was honored for the successful completion of that project. In 2005 HBA of Greater Austin voted to construct a new Association office. Gary once again stepped up to add his leadership in the planning, bidding and construction project and was again presented the award at HBA's annual membership banquet.

In 2003 The Texas Association of Builders presented Henley Homes their Lone Star Award in the category of Whole House Remodel under $100,000. Walls were removed, fixtures were updated and functionality was enhanced to make the Sweeney home in Austin, Texas an award winning project.

The historic restoration of the A.O. Watson home built in 1897 at Guadalupe and 12th Street in Austin won the prestigious Heritage Society of Austin award in 1993. Henley Homes also received a Community Revitalization Award from the Austin Board of Realtors for the Commercial Preservation of a Structure Over 75 Years.

Gary was nominated for the National Association of Home Builders Council Awards for Demonstrating Remodeling Excellence (CADRE) by the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Austin. The nominating letter says, "It is clear to us that Chairman Henley is one of the truly great leaders in this industry and among associations, the HBA Remodelors Council completed the year as one of a handful of the fastest growing mid-sized Councils in mid-sized associations in the country. That growth came, in large part, through the energy, education programming, community involvement and leadership provided by Gary Henley. His personal leadership comes with a combination of time-tested experience and natural charisma. He inspired the council to unprecedented growth. In addition to his duties, Chairman Gary Henley served the industry by representing the HBA Remodelors Council on the HBA Board of Directors. His leadership was quickly recognized and he was selected for the 2004-2005 Executive Committee. As Chairman of HBA Remodelors Council, Chairman Henley commands respect and appreciation from each and every Director and Officer of HBA of Greater Austin can not conceive of another individual who could have contributed more to his local association, to the region and to the country."
